XCEL Church

XCEL Church, based in Portree on the Isle of Skye, Scotland has a 24/7 passion to reach out and practically express God’s love to the people we ‘do life with’ in our communities. We want to connect with people who do not yet know God and help them find a relationship with their creator.

We do not see Church being limited to Sunday – it is a seven-days-a-week experience! We believe real Church is a living community of people who take seriously the teaching and example of Jesus in his compassion, love and self-sacrifice.

Our aim is to see on the Isle of Skye a relevant 21st Century Church that is God-Centred and People-Empowering.

We meet each Sunday between 10.30 and 11.30 am at Tigh Na Drochaid Resource Centre (at the end of Bayfield car park) Portree.

Sunday morning services last for approximately one hour and incorporate modern praise and worship music as well as a short time of practical teaching from the Bible. These services are designed with the first time visitor in mind. All are welcome from the youngest to the oldest!
